Half-naked Darwen drinker punched in unknown house
A 21-year-old man was forced to flee half-naked from an attacker after waking up in a strange house - with no memory of how he got there.
The victim had been at the Darwen Beer Festival. The last thing he remembered was drinking at the Bridgwater pub.
He woke up in an unknown house hours later and was confronted by a man who punched him as he tried to leave.
A member of the public contacted police after spotting him on Cemetery Road wearing only jeans and socks.
The caller was concerned for his safety because he was wandering along the street at 0450 BST.
Lancashire Police are appealing for help in establishing how he got to the house, where it was, and what happened to him.
A spokesperson described it as a "very unusual case".
