headed to town tomorrow to get some lumber for building some work benches. gone as far as i can go without having a place to put things.

wiring: done (5, 20A power circuits and one 20A lighting circuit, with space for more if needed down the road.)

trash removed, dirt shoveled and vacuumed off the floor (no water available to wash the place down).

You said you're only currently building out a portion of the barn currently correct? What's the plans for the rest of it?

the overall size is 40x60 (interior is about 39x56). a central portion, all concrete floor (very rough) is 16x56. on either side are eight 12x12 stalls with dirt floors, as well as 2 'offices' of 8x12 with smooth concrete floors.

i'll use one office as my office, the other as my finishing room (as i can close it off and keep dust out), and the rear 32' of the central portion as the main shop space. i don't need the front 4 stall spaces, so i haven't cleaned them out yet, but the rear stalls are cleaned out, and will likely be used for storage of lumber for now. i don't have enough tools to fill the place (yet), hope to add and upgrade my tools as i earn some $$ from stuff i make over time.

i can add more power and lighting if needed down the road in the front portion, or leave it empty and allow myself to pull my truck inside for off loading of supplies and loading of deliveries; would need to do a little grading at the entry.

getting busier, working on my woodshop now that it is warm. and about 1,000 items on the 'honey do' list (install exterior lights and caulk and paint trim is next up)....
