So been sick for over a week now.

Started out with food poisoning on tues and missed 3.5 days of work during which time I did not eat one single meal. No one here really to take care of me since I live 2.5 hours from where I stay during the week. Got up Thurs and said feck it, I'm driving home so my wife can take care of me. She cooked me a small meal that night and I felt a bit better. Woke up Fri morning and the glands in my neck are swollen, and a 99* temp. Ate a few more meals, felt better Sat night, went to bed woke up and my foot is swollen and killin me from gout.
I've been drinking the chit out of cherry juice and still can't walk. Waiting for a buddy to bring me some Ibuprophen so I can make it to a Doc tomorrow.

Sounds like a case of severe food poisoning.
I had that last year in the early spring and it was the most miserable time ever.

I was out of work for a week and a half and had absolute no energy during that time period. All I could eat was small amounts of chicken broth. I did force down a lot of gatorade and that stuff as I heard it was supposed to help.

Good luck man, sounds like you have a few more days till you start feeling better.

The food poisoning may be over but it sounds like your body has not recovered yet. Feeling like you do are you really gonna get anything accomplished at work and in a safe manner! Your mind will not be focused!

Go home and let your body heal and get that ankle looked at. If you cant walk you will be out of work longer. Find out whats wrong before it gets worse!

The lack of sleep thing sucks. I took an ambien and only got about two hours sleep :( Have you tried any anti-inflamtory meds for your ankle like Motrin? There are some instances where it does work.

Yeah, those anti-inflamatory meds work. Problem is I can't get down the stairs and make it to my truck in the parkiing lot. I'm gonna call somone from work and see if they will pick me up something. The lack of sleep is from the pain.

I know the feeling. I spent most of my deployment with lack of sleep that due to my constant shoulder pain. Pain meds didn't even work :( You best get that ankle looked at as soon as you can, bro.
