When you're old, no matter how spry you feel, do not, I repeat - DO NOT, run PT with the youngsters. I don't care what you might think you have to prove, do not do it!

That is all, carry on.

That's why some of us younger guys who know we are broke d*ck legs didn't even bother. Not worth the extra pain afterwards at some point in life. It's all good to be high speed until you hit that brick wall and become low speed drag......

Fortunately I don't plan on being back in Ft. Worth anytime soon so I don't see a repeat in my immediate future.

I am 50 years old and feel like I am 25.........that is until I try to do the things I did when I was 25, then I feel about 75.

I'm 60, act like I'm 25, feel like I'm 30 and every now and then do something that brings reality crashing down upon me. This was one of those things. :D

I give myself the Army PT Test every week. I do 50 push ups in under two minutes, then 60 situps in under two minutes then run two miles in under 16 minutes.

I can still pass at the 18 year old standards.

Perzactly. I tried to go Airborne between basic and the time I was waiting for OCS to start, but was disqualified because of my knees. Now, looking back and being medically separated, I'm am glad I had "leg" status or walking would be a hell of a lot more difficult.

Sure they will... a little rubber ball that'll leave a bruise  Reminds me of that racquet ball scene in the movie 9 to 5 when the boss hits the ball and takes the return on his johnson.

My personal philosophy:

Growing old is mandatory, Growing UP is optional!
