LEXINGTON, KY - Amy and Joe Snider should be on their honeymoon, but instead both are recovering from injuries suffered in a crash right after their wedding.
The two were on their way to the reception Saturday when the car they were riding in was hit by a police car driven by Officer Justin Rowland, who ran a red light on his way to a call.
Amy Snider was released from the hospital on Sunday. Joe Snider, who suffered from broken ribs and a collapsed lung, could be released as soon as Tuesday.
The wreck made the week even more difficult for the newlyweds. The bride's father died from cancer and his funeral was Wednesday.
Any Snider says she and her husband are focused on recovering before they reschedule their honeymoon.
