On the tangent tip, that History Channel joint "Gettysburg" that airs May 30th looks pretty dope, too.

Very nice shots,they have the battle of Aiken S.C. here near us every year and I love to tour the sights ,pretty big event.

There be reports of cash spookable sightings there (and other Civil War memorials) too, I might add. :ohnoes:

Confeds won a lot of battles early on...just not the war. We do follow a scenario/script for each particular battle. Like at Gettysburg, we did a Little Round Top scenario, then a Pickett's Charge, etc...true to the timeline and outcome of the real battle.

Let me know if I can help. Most often, people will loan out the uniform/equipment for a new person to try at an event. Then they can see if they want to make the investment. Just find a local unit near you and tell them you are interested in trying it sometime.

I've slept on many original battlefields. I can tell you stories of several strange happenings. We have done the Aiken battle several times over the years. It's a good event.
