Very nice shots,they have the battle of Aiken S.C. here near us every year and I love to tour the sights ,pretty big event.

Confeds won a lot of battles early on...just not the war. We do follow a scenario/script for each particular battle. Like at Gettysburg, we did a Little Round Top scenario, then a Pickett's Charge, etc...true to the timeline and outcome of the real battle.

Let me know if I can help. Most often, people will loan out the uniform/equipment for a new person to try at an event. Then they can see if they want to make the investment. Just find a local unit near you and tell them you are interested in trying it sometime.

I've slept on many original battlefields. I can tell you stories of several strange happenings. We have done the Aiken battle several times over the years. It's a good event.
