I see one wing.

He's referring not only to the rear wing (wing 1), but also the canards in the front (wings 2 and 3? or wing 2?)

Regardless, that is a proper C8 Z06. My front "wingy thingys" are removed right now because autocross. In reality....you see VERY FEW Z07 Z06's in the wild.

Speaking of Callaway, the 1988 Callaway Sledgehammer was God-awful I don't care how fast it went.

They only built one. I wonder where it ended up?

Neighbor has a Lambo, every time it starts up I think its a jet ski...and the Plymouth Superbird was considered gauche in its day, overdone and with ill-fitting nose and wing add-ons as afterthoughts. But, tastes change.

I think the peak of modern styling of the Corvette was the C6; I have no affinity for the 7 or 8, and the average Joe won't know a Grand Sport from a Z06 from a base model.... I'm sure they are svelte rockets, but a big yawn for me...

It's a pet peeve of mine. My late BIL had muscular dystrophy and had a HC van. Many times driving around with him, doing errands, spaces were filled with scofflaws.

Same when driving my paraplegic father on errands... Fat ****ers and violators taking all the spots.... And, yeah, you can't always tell someone's handicap.

But, when their fat asses jump down 4' to the ground from their jacked up dualies and run over you to get to the Golden Corral buffet you have to wonder.

The Z06 sure does sound good.........as far as "what was Dodge/Plymouth thinking on the Superbird/Daytona"......they sure as heck weren't thinking about looks.........they were thinking about the 7 inches that wing lowered the car at 100 MPH due to loading the springs with that much downforce. They were thinking about lapping the fields in NASCAR, and being so dominant they were severely CI restricted, then ultimately banned.........

An offender who I will never forget, a 30-somethin Asian woman, at Costco, during Covid when everyone was clamoring for toilet paper. Costco was opening 1/2 hour early for seniors. This **** parked in the closest handicapped spot and was one of the first in line. As I was arriving at 9:30 she was loading TP into her car...

The turn signal, the island on the left, the crosswalk going across the intersection, the cross traffic, the road signs, and the width of the lane all kind of give it away, don't ya think?

Whatever happened to engineering downforce into the aerodynamics of the body shape?

No wings on my C5 and it has so much downforce that above 80mph it feels like I'm driving a dump truck.

The C5 Z06 makes 224 lbs of LIFT at 140 mph.

The C8 Z06 Z07 makes about 400 lbs of downforce at 140 mph.

If my car squatted any lower at that speed my ass would be dragging on the pavement. Maybe because my stance isn't stock? Lowered on Koni shocks with low profile rubber and taller wheels. Two inches of clearance at most. Have to dodge dead squirrels, already replaced one air dam
