BTW - been 6 mo on hair and beard cut. Maybe put robe on, with sunglass's and drive as The_Dude or Big Lewboski

Hell of a lot different daily goals when working and managing

"Life is short - Have some fun."

True. Have fun while you can, cuz what's fun today may not be tomorrow.

Been hanging around bars from 1968 til 2020 when Cuomo ****ed everything up cuz some peeps got a cold, closed bars from March til June. I never thought I'd get tired of barring but I am now. Most are closed forever anyway.

Recently heard that my fav bar in the area, about 11 miles away, has reopened after the owner died a year or so ago. It's a great neighborhood bar in a small village; good bar food.

Young guy who tended bar there apparently bought it. Great kid, haven't been there yet, will do so soon. My sis and her hubby want to go -- we used to meet there every month or so but haven't since the winter of 2019-2020.

Never thought I'd get tired of going on poker runs either, couldn't imagine it. But I did, last one was in May 2006 with my nephew; at some point during the day my brain just flipped, didn't want to be there so went home, and that was that. All the guys I used to ride with are scattered about, lost contact with them, none of them were with us.

Sold the Softail in 2015, don't miss it, never thought that would be possible. As you go through life your ideas may change, even though you thought they never would. :island14:

That real ID thing starts in May.

I really haven't traveled anywhere and I don't have a passport.

I just filled out the internet forms to get a copy of my original birth certificate.

Who the heck has kept thier original birth certificate with an embossed seal and thier old social security card?

Absolutely ridiculous.

We are all at the "show us your papers" stage.

How soon before we need papers to cross state lines?

I got a new passport a month ago, process went pretty quick, don't have to bother with real ID if you use the passport.
I don't have access to my original birth certificate for awhile. Do you get an embossed whatever copy with what you're doing?

To get a Real ID or passport they require both an original seal embossed birth certificate and the original social security card.

I have a birth certificate from the hospital I was born at but it's not an official state birth certificate.

I'm getting g a passport to fly because it only needs the birth certificate and not a SS card that the Real ID needs.

Vette hibernation was short this winter -- only 4 months. Salt on roads was completely washed away with Sunday's mini-storm.

I took her for a short ride yesterday then washed it, longer ride today. Every spring I am amazed how it starts after sitting in an unheated barn for usually 5 months or so. Hit the button, starts right up and idles down like I'd just ran it yesterday. All the electronics are fine WHEN THEY WORK.

Back in the day it could be a chore getting anything started that had sat that long, including motorcycles long before EFI. I'm betting newer ones with EFI start as good as modern cars.

I took the family on a Disney cruise a couple weeks ago. Granddaughters had a great time in the Bahamas. Besides windy weather preventing us from docking at one island, it was a great vacation.

I wanted to treat the family to a vacation and that’s what they chose. Disney customer service was excellent. I never heard of a New York style prime rib before our server suggested it. That was one delicious thick steak!

Well, back to everyday life. Looking forward to wings Wednesday with the SIL this afternoon.

I had a long expired passport so didn't need a birth certificate to get a new passport.
Getting a replacement social security card was super easy to do online, I think I just needed to take a pic of driver's license, and didn't have a passport at that time but can't remember what else I had to show.

Does Mrs. Rickles really have her original SS card? Or does she have the first one she got after she changed her name to Mrs. Rickles?

I still have my first one after I changed my name, and my original BC, but I don't think I have my SS card with my maiden name. I had it for decades after we got married, but I have no idea where my original one ended up.

The Fantasy. The detail design of the ship’s interior was like being on a luxury yacht. The live shows (Aladdin and Frozen) were well done.

Our Server was fantastic. The attention to our needs and extra attention to the grandkids was outstanding.

I had my original SS card until my wallet got lost/stolen last year. My replacement didn't have my middle name like the original, middle names are no longer considered parts of legal names for the SSN for whatever reason.

I was on the Wish two years ago this past January. It was a good time, I still did not lose the weight I put on. Unlimited self serve soft ice cream
