Rickles has a great voice!

Regularly I’m told I should have taken up a radio DJ or announcer, or singer (it’s called a Cantor in synagogue).

Before puberty, I could have competed with Michael Jackson. But as an adult, I have become base deep base, yet still with quite a range.

I hate to brag, BUT never met anyone with better pipes than me.
I am a lot shy, so my performances are restricted to family events only.

I am not as loud as I used to be, but I can still stay on tone.

I only sing when I drink, and I don't drink anymore, so gone are the days of women in the audience making their chairs slimy when I do some Josh Turner karaoke.

We all have our superpowers.

I'm tone deaf, beat deaf, but I have the equivalence to perfect pitch for color

Have you been a verified as having tetrachromacy

Not officially, but I can put 1000 swatches in correct order. With no errors. My father was colorblind.

Thank you for the new word. :seasix:

Always wanted to be musical - singing is out, I can blister paint and cause wildlife to abandon the area. After a year with the guitar, I can crank out a 'not awful' 12 bar blues...

You could probably translate that over to playing some real basic boogie woogie piano which is at least 50% brain dead but sounds great to non musicians

I've tinkered with it with the wonderful Yamaha keyboard wifey bought me, got a little ways with boogie woogie and may get back to it soon...but yeah you can sound pretty bitchin' with some effort.

I had a side job up in Anchorage back in the late 70s at a Christian Radio Station. Mainly playing songs from Gospel/Bluegrass groups like the Gaithers, Florida Boys and a million others
