She Rang the Bell

I never posted about it but Mrs Flex was diagnosed with Breast Cancer last summer.

She had a partial mastectomy in October.

Today she finished her radiation treatment and is officially a Breast Cancer Survivor.

I didn't know this but it's customary for cancer patients to ring a bell after the last treatment.

I went with her this morning and witnessed it.

2024 was a ****ed up year for us on many levels, but this was the best possible outcome, I guess.

Onward and upward....

That is wonderful. My wife went through that years ago. A different cancer. It was tough but she made it through it and we are thriving. Congratulations.

Friend of ours is going through "Tonsil Cancer" :eek: :willy:
I never heard of this before....she is half way through chemo and radiation and they are saying the tumor is gone....she'll finish treatment of course and we are praying she has Mrs. Flex's results !

Thanks everyone for the support. She was a champ through all of this. Hopefully it's done and over with forever.

I never posted about it because I'm not one to look for sympathy on stuff like this. We kept it very private. Most of my family didn't even know. I didn't tell anyone at work except the two owners, because I had to miss some time to take her to appointments and take care of her after the surgery.
