Japan has quite a few fatties now. Cheap and quick food abounds, and dieting is considered a "hip" thing to do.

I eat a regular "Japanese" diet daily. More vegtables than anything else. It is impossible to gain weight. But my lifestyle is "hardcore" Japanese by instilled habits from years ago. I do need to cut down on the soy sauce though......
