It looks like I may need to replace my current batteries which are Odyssey Extremes from about 7 years ago. They are considerably more expensive now and at $800 for a pair now I'm open to other options:shots: They look to still be made in USA however I'm not sure how the current quality is. So what's the consensus on AGM car batteries? Odyssey Extreme, Odyssey Performance, Optima Yellow/Red, AC Delco AGM, Bosch AGM, O'Reilly Superstart AGM, Walmart AGM, etc?

Odyssey Extreme $800/pair and 3 year warranty. Big performance metrics WRT amps, discharge cycles, etc.

Odyssey Performance $650/pair and 3 year warranty. More comparable specs to the rest of the market offerings.

Bosch S6 AGM looks eerily similar to Odyssey Performance and similar in MSRP however RockAuto has them at $500/pair. 4 year warranty. The stock photo shows Made in USA.

AC Delco Gold AGM stock photos look to be made in Korea and RockAuto has them around $330/pair. 3 year warranty.

O'Reilly Auto has their house brand Super Start AGM for $450/pair after the current promo. 3 year warranty

Other Options that are not Chinese?

Odessey are excellent. Optima has been total crap since about 2010. You would be better off with anything other than that.

It's one of those 'cry once when you buy it' or 'cry every time you use it' deals.

Life is expensive. Life with a Democrat administration that villainizes energy is even more so.

Batteries Plus has their X2Power AGM which is pricey but has a great warranty. I ran them in boats.
