I've had to trap & relocate 17 squirrels over the past year to prevent my back lawn being turned into gorgonzola cheese holes where they bury their stash.
Moron two doors down feeds the lil fkrs monkey nuts. I clear the empty shells around my house each time I get rid of one, so if I find shells again I know there's YET ANOTHER of the lil bastards, and the trap goes out again.

They are legally vermin-pest here & you're supposed to kill them, but not having a shotgun, the only option is the water trap - barrel of water with bait on a beercan rotating on a pole across the top. Drowns 'em.

I'd be happy to shoot 'em, but drowning is a nasty death, so I relocate.

I was catching 2 squirrels a day for a couple of weeks after an infestation of the rats with tails. I also relocated them, I was told you have to do a "crazy Ivan" when you take them to the drop off point, if you go in a straight line the buggers can supposedly find their way back.....urban myth ? Can't say.

Freakin raccoons at my place eat fermented berries from a neighbor's tree and get drunk then lay up on my screens with a hangover, shielding their eyes from the sun.
