I learned something new recently, the Chiefs aren’t named in reference to indians, they’re named after H. Roe Bartle the mayor of KC whose nickname was The Chief. He was instrumental in getting the Dallas Texans to move to KC after the 1962 season.

Seriously, even though I’m from NYC I’ve always rooted for the Royals to beat the Yankees ( I’m a Mets fan). I also like the Chiefs, especially when they beat the Eagles 2 years ago.

They proved a small-market team was a good as the yankees and dodgers.

Small market teams have been doing great for decades. The Yankees haven’t won since 2009..Mets 1986. Crap, even the Phillies and Eagles have 3 championships in a 200 plus combined years of Pro sports. Money doesn’t always win. I’m a Green Bay fan, look at all their success and my High School had more students than the population of Green Bay!:lol:
