On my damn Sleep Number Bed. Big hassle to order an expensive new one from them, and I found a company selling replacement ones that are better than original.
Of course, they ship with USPS, so the three day shipment time is over six days so far. I expect that since it's supposedly in the area it'll have to get sent 1500 miles away furst, and then back and forth between local cities.
Then they'll probably deliver to a neighbor somewhere....
Don't they have a pill for that?

A distant friend who still leaks years after a prostatectomy was considering getting a valve installed.
But he was in the hospital and the guy next to him had one put in and it never worked right and was sorry he did it. So the guy I knew abandoned the idea.
That was 10 years ago, I have no idea what he's doing now.

Are you sure it's the chamber that's leaking? The o-rings at the hose connection and the valve in the pump can leak too.

Our Sleep Number is 10 years old and, so far, no leaks
(from either the mattresses or the occupants)

Last I knew, he was resigned to wearing pads the rest of his life. He is 77 this year and in good health otherwise, AFAIK. He and his wife are school-mate friends of my sister so I don't see them very often.

I feel for the guy. It took me a year to regain control after my prostatectomy

I'm fine under most conditions. Been 12 years for me since.

The link in post #7 is the place I used! They have repair kits and full parts. You could pixk and choose and build the whole mattress for less than SN charges...

Ours popped when we went over Berthoud pass in Colorado (~12000’). Found out too late that you need to deflate them if you’re in higher elevations.

??? I hunted elk for years on Kendall mountain near Silverton - about 14,000 feet. I didn't think there were any 12,000 foot passes around...

A very small overstatement IMO. The Wiki machine says it is 11,307 feet:

What is 693 feet of elevation among friends?

Hey, I'm in the nosebleed/no-oxygen atmosphere here at 1,160 feet ASL.

They all leak. Mine loses 5 units (out of 100, not sure what the unit is) in a few days.
Pro tip: The base mattress (when I bought mine) was under $1000. Uncomfortable as all hell. The comfort is in the foam topper, and they were charging about $500 per inch. So I bought a 3-1/2" foam top from Walmart for about $150.

I've had two TURP procedures, one "Rezume" steam procedure 2-3 catheters. a stent and more cameras (working a deal for a Netflix special) stuck up Mr. Happy than I can recall - still, my shut off valve works like new.
When women complain about 'female problems' I really don't want to hear it.

So you still have your prostate (and its sphincter muscle), just had it reamed out twice?

Question
If one had a colonoscopy and TURP procedure on the same day, would be a Ramulus and Reamus?

Yes.... via TURP that ****ing REZUME steam thing didn't work and was a PITD
I'm hoping this last treatment works until I go to the Happy Hunting Grounds.
Nothing like having a bunch of hot 20 something year old technician girls at the urologist office look at your geriatric package...
The last visit to remove the catheter the girl at the front desk said, "Why are you visiting us today, sir?" (As if the reason wasn't right there on her computer screen)
I said, "Because you guys are supposed to Free Willy today!"
The entire front desk staff and most of the waiting room cracked up, got me a sharp punch in the arm from the wife though.

My gland was never enlarged so I never had that procedure. Just cancerous so had it taken out.
After going through all of that, having cute young women around doing this and that to you, I realized there was nothing left in life to be ashamed of.
Before I was released from the hospital, my attending nurse looked like a hot 25 year-old porn star. She was very attractive, petite, and had "the look."
I told her I felt like I had to pee constantly, so she grabbed my frightened yank and pushed the catheter hose in a bit farther, and that fixed the sensation.

Yea, one of my attending nurses was a hot Asian, in her mid 20's I'd say. Good thing my traumatized nerves hadn't yet recovered

I wouldn't have worried with an Asian, she would have seen your genitals as all blurred out - or so I've heard...
