Got to see him a few years ago locally at Picktown Palooza. Put on a great show. At this point I believe he needed a cane to get around but when he got on stage he gave it his all without it. Video I found on YouTube of the event.

I never cared for their music; in my opinion, they were off-angle.

They released 13 albums with two Top-40 hits

'The 1980s glam metal band Great White had two Top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot 100: "Once Bitten, Twice Shy" and "The Angel Song". "Once Bitten, Twice Shy" was the band's biggest hit, peaking at number five on the chart in 1989.'

1989 was 35 years ago

They did a great job covering Ramble On as I recall.

I remember they were involved in a crazy life safety issue from a show.. I think it was in Connecticut? Where the club owner locked the emergency exits with chains and of course the place was on fire.

Bios say he had a sense of humor.

I can maybe confirm. Saw them at the St. Louis Checkerdome .... he was fing with the security facing away from him around the stage. Audience rofl, security none the wiser.

All Over Now best track evar for overpowered car audio. Kaboom.

RIP Jack Russell, thanks for the tunes. Sorry about the fire.

I saw them almost a dozen times, including a show about ten days prior to the fire; in a small club in Buckhead (Atlanta). I’ve followed them as they went from small clubs, to big clubs, to theaters, then arena…then back the reverse. The show before the fire wasn’t the last show I saw. I saw them again, I think twice. The last time I saw Great White was with Terry as the lead singer. I walked out of that show a few songs in…it was awful. It was not Great White without Jack. This news has been kind of a bummer for me.

Buckhead was a great party zone. Its been forever since I've been there. Is it still a thing?

I worked in Buckhead for twenty years but I always went home after work. From what I heard from the news, the atmosphere eventually attracted a crowd that dealt drugs and shot each other. The city managed to squash that.

When I saw them at the show just before the fire, I just worked late that night, and went straight to the club. There I was at the front of the stage, sweating through my button down shirt and tie, singing every word right back at them, amongst two hundred others in t-shirts and shorts. It was such an odd look that I caught the attention of Ty Longly several times, he just grinned and gave me a thumbs up; he died in the fire.
