I think my headphones are racist

Was just on a flight, some lady was complaining about a baby that actually barely cried, and during the flight of course this lady and her friend are yapping away about their loser lives while everyone else is trying to get some shuteye considering it was 1am and the plane was dark. They got 2 brain cells, one to be irritated by others and the other to be irritating but these brain cells ain't talking to each other to see their hypocrisy.
Anyway, my noise canceling Sony headphones did a good job drowning out their yapping but I have yet been unable to test its capabilities for yapping from other groups because I've never found those other groups to be inconsiderate yappers. So far these headphones have only drowned out certain types, I think these headphones might be racist :leaving:

Amazing how some words that were in common use decades ago have somehow become offensive and replaced with other words, more vague and less descriptive. I used the term "soul brother" in a sentence a few weeks back and was told by my grown daughter that was no longer acceptable - I can't keep up.

My personal favorite is "guide dogs" which has kind of morphed into "emotional support animals" meaning any creature that you like apparently.

Not a minority but this happened to me with my new 05 Vette Vert. Wife and I were taking a nice ride in a scenic part of the mountains and we stopped for lunch and gas at a convenience store.

You got to understand I worked for years at gas stations/ garages and know what its like to tie up a gas pump.

Wife went into store to see about lunch I hit the pumps for gas. Filled car got in and drove it to a parking spot by the door and went int to pay for gas. The kid behind the counter had already called police before I made it into the building. Cop shop was close to the store and I had a state police car there before the kid could put in a call to disregard. A little bit of talking and my wife was buying lunch and all was well.

Tried to do the right thing and I end up in a talk with a cop. Course the kid at the counter was quick on the LEO call.

I live year around on a large lake in Northern NY and we get invaded by the flatlanders summer weekends. Many of them come from NYC and NJ. A funny thing many of them are school teachers or retired from that job.
