My friend used to live in a neighborhood in Oak Park, MI where there is a heavy population of orthodox Jews with a synagogue nearby. On the sabbath they would walk in their black garb to their synagogue down the middle of the street and didn’t like to move out of the way for traffic. I guess they believe if they can’t drive then no one else should be driving either.
