Been in bed most days between 4 and 5 pm as it's my only relief from the hip pain. Surgery on the 28th...thank God.

Having said that, first in for TGIF. :hurray:

Relief is around the corner. Believe it or not, 6-7 weeks post surgery and you won't even remember what that pain felt like.

I had mine done a week before Christmas 2018. 2 weeks later I had to get out of the house, so we went to Costco in 6inches of new snow covering the streets.

We picked up some things for the neighbor. We got back home and I was exhausted. I managed to get a couple things up to the front door and my wife was talking with the neighbor.

Walking carefully back to the car, I did a classic slip. Feet went out and down I went. I froze, flat out on my back . I was afraid to move. I still had all the stitches in. I started rolling from side to side checking it out for damage.

Neighbor lady saw this and then my wife (Mrs. Sympathy) who promptly said "wth are you doing?" Then I managed to roll over on my hands and knees crawling in the snow to the car to get up.

Wake up fukker! :D

I know you've been up for hours already. Stoked for you to get this procedure behind you. And you have an excellent consolation prize coming soon to help you forget the pain.
