Finally took a drive out Saturday to East Bumblef…errr…the middle-of-nowhere Virginia for this event :D as a former NYer, I only consume the ‘real stuff’ and won’t touch the Aunt Jemima/Mrs. Butterworth cr@p :nonod: :ack:

So glad I did…beautiful drive out, and Route 250 puts the Tail of the Dragon to shame! The road on the nav map looked like a little kid drew it with crayon through the George Washington National Forest.

Literally anything maple you could ever want was there…maple doughnuts, ice cream, fudge, cotton candy, bbq, blts, etc. A veritable pot-pourri of maple syrup grades/infusions/flavors/etc to choose from as well.

Just a few pics from the day :) 🍁

I never mention that stretch of road to anybody, but, the section from Monterey to Huttonsville was my favorite C6 road. Beautiful area. Go back in the fall and you'll be astounded.

Try Snickersville Turnpike for another fun ride.:seasix:

I drive Snickersville at least a couple times a month :yesnod: :seasix:

I’ll try to get back out west this fall, I’m sure it’s breathtaking
