I've enjoyed a couple of loafs lately with some horseradish sauce, Swiss cheese and corned beast.

I've had it before, and I like it, but I don't think I've ever bought any.

Ham and cheese on pumpernickel with lettuce, tomato, onion, jalapeno and some spicy mustard or horseradish sounds pretty good, though.

Never have. But looking at it, now I might. I eat Rye and Marble Rye and sourdough a lot.

Wish we had good Sourdough here. I use to bring a loaf back from Ca every week when I traveled there.

Haven't had the bread in awhile but always get a pumpernickel bagel with cream cheese at Einstein's.

Always have a loaf here. My maternal grandparents were bakers... I was raised on dark Pump, Kielbasa, kapusta and glazed donuts that were still too hot to hold.

I picked one up last week, then was promptly vetoed by Baby Doll, who favored a Jewish Rye and pumpernickel, because it had a better texture. Today for lunch she used it to make me a classic Reuben using the corned beef, left over from the classic St. Patrick's Day meal she made me two day's earlier.

It was awesome.

I am the luckiest man alive. :D
