1) there are no longer need for prisons in venezuela, colombia, mexico and all other central American countries, they have been emptied
2) The secret air charters cost taxpayers at least $75M
3) No border crossers are medically checked, we will have outbreaks of measles, smallpox, covid variants, etc...
4) If they are TRULY asylum seekers, why are they not stopping and staying in the first country's border that they cross
5) With on records on any of them, how do you deport the bad ones back to their 'home' country
6) While they may have to wait five years to vote, today they will be counted in the census, which will increase the electoral vote in states like kali

I read one report that says illegals are costing the US $7K/month now and not sure that counts other programs the Feds won't tell you about like the DOJ SCAAP (Stater Criminal Alien Assistance Program) that pays states to incarcerate illegal criminals. Its been around at least 20 years and have paid out billions and billions over that time:

I'm pretty sure the 7.2 million crossing at the Southern border are a subset of the 8.7 million nationwide. The other 1.5 million got in other ways, like crossing the border with Canada, which is becoming much more common.

I dealt with some of this in my Federal career and yes, once the border is "tightened up" in one area the border crossings shift to other areas. "Coyotes" figure it out pretty quickly.
