What's funny about inflation is that the investor class loses little if any. Widget futures, land, real estate more-or-less keeps up with inflation. Money in savings accounts, where the poor have their money (if they have any) loses value. And the poor tend to vote for the assholes who cause inflation.

I’ve been accumulating dollars to buy a nice collectible car and other assets, “when there's blood in the streets.” Not going to lie, I’m getting nervous. Prices aren’t coming down as quickly as I hoped. If we end up in a bigger war, a bank holiday or some other type of disaster, I think these “dead presidents”, could be worthless overnight?

As, they pay income taxes, then they pay cap gains on investments, and then the IRS attends their funeral to collect the death tax.
