View Full Version : Took out some bolts today
And got 'em organized, labelled. Screws too. :D
If I ever put all of mine in the same place in the garage, the slab will tilt.

I had three-pound coffee cans full of 5/8" and up when I owned a farm tractor and a few implements. Sold them all with the tractor. Picture 1 has a 1:18 scale model of the tractor. :yesnod:

I hope to get that far soon... 6 weeks into the new place I have the moving boxes empty and recycled, and have nearly finished painting the garage. Then I can set up the new bench, put up shelving/cabinets and get the milk carton crates full of stuff organized and available.

Moved out of our house in the city to our smaller vacation home in the country. Then did an addition. My garage took a real beating during that process. Now I'm getting it cleaned up, organized. First step is deciding what you can toss out. :seasix:

First step is deciding what you can toss out. :seasix:
I simply left the "toss" pile at the previous property. I had ample time to choose the good stuff... there's just still a lot of good stuff; and less space for all of it.

I tossed/ gave away/ left/ quite a bit before I made the move, but still ended up with a ton of stuff that I haven't used in several years. After renting a storage unit for furniture that we knew we would need for the addition, I realized just how much storage space actually costs.
So I made a decision to eliminate more and more, prioritizing on the bigger stuff. For example, scrap lumber. I had a ton of it after the addition, but I tossed nearly all of it. Instead, I'll let my local Lowes Hardware store it for me.
