Got to ride with a good friend of mine in his C8 Z51...pretty much identical to mine. His lap times are insane. I haven't raced at Sebring in 8-9 years, so I was pretty tentative. I'll share his video tomorrow.

It sucks that the iconic Kenilworth Lodge in Sebring closed....
It was so nostalgic and reflective of times past; rumor is they are trying to reopen. Its getting harder and harder to find viable remnants of "Old Florida" now...

Yeah, he was on Nankangs. That was my observation as well. Constantly sliding the tires like he was may work for 25 minute sessions, but he'd not fair wall in a full race.

Surgery off the table at the moment. Seems the doctor who gave me the physical didn't like the EKG. I've had an irregular heartbeat for 20-25 years, but he said a cardiologist would need to clear me. I'm beyond pissed at the moment.

On a bright note, they had already called in my prescriptions, including hydrocodone. This weekend was brutal at the track, and now my pursuit is to get another cortisone shot as soon as possible. It's possibly a blessing in disguise, as I'll be switching insurance companies with the new job. :yesnod:

BTW, your wife's experience with my current employer was spot on. It was good until it wasn't, and all it takes is one asshole of a partner to make their strongest technical asset want to find a new job. I hope she gets an earful when I drop the bomb next Friday.

This is something that I would enjoy doing on a regular basis. :thumbs::thumbs:

However, I prefer tracks that have elevation changes of more than 1 foot. :leaving:

I prefer states that have no state income tax, smooth roads, accessible race tracks, and allow personal freedom. Hence why every mother****er in this world is now moving to Florida. :willy:
