I'm talking your pet canine. Do they dig it?

I do. It's far easier to bathe her and not try to stay dry.

Lay towels on the floor and make sure she can't escape the bathroom. Wash her, then let her out and shower myself.

I've done that. You wash yourself, by that time, the dog is pre-soaked and rinsed. Wash the dog, get out, dry off, then open the shower door and dry off the dog. Perfect, especially for someone with a temporary or permanent disability, who can't stand outside, hold on to the dog and wash the dog all at once.

When I did wash the dog outside, he'd immediately run around and roll in the grass, immediately getting dirty again while his coat was still wet.

The dogs bathe/shower more than I do, so would not work well.

We tried that once years ago but when they shake, had to wipe down the hole kitchen. Easier in the bath tub. Put on my swim trunks, sit on the side and do it.

As long as you're making contact with the dog, they don't shake

That has not been my experience with my last three dogs.

My wife is OCD. I would leave it because it's only water. She makes a federal case out of it.

Once I was changing the lightbulb outside the front door and she got all bent because the door was not locked.

Do you buy it dinner first?

I'd take a shower with her and her dog.

My dogs have never had a shower, or a bath, and they still smell better than the MIL.

I have a steam shower. My Jack Russells insisted on joining me when I was using steam. The shower is big enough they could stay out of the way of the water spray and just enjoy the steam. I think they thought we were going somewhere, like time travelling.
