It would lose in the Senate anyway so it was simply pissing in the wind. They all need to do the job we elected them to do instead of cheerleading for their party and candidates. Unfortunately that will never happen.
Here’s a photo I found of a recent joint session of Congress:

I don't understand this. Is she high? Is there some super secret double probation thing going on here I don't know about? They voted against, that should be it, right?

The purpose of the impeachment is to have that 'pomp and circumstance' rubbing it in Mayorkas' face the wide open border, and the resultant catastrophe that is resulting from the invasion. It's to dirty him up with normies who don't follow politics, not to actually remove him, which would be useless anyway.

Do you believe Mayorkas should be impeached and removed from office?
And what "job" should be doing instead of trying to uphold the Constitution and Rule of Law?

Mayorkas is doing what his boss tells him to do. He’s a patsy. His boss should be impeached, but that won’t happen either.
I want Congress to uphold the Constitution and stop deficit spending. Put this country ahead of Ukraine, Israel, and all the other countries we send billions of our tax dollars to.

My understanding is that is correct and why Moore changed his vote to NO, as a tie would prohibit a re-vote.

Neither party is concerned about Ukraine or Israel, or this country for that matter, the parties are concerned for what’s best for their own party.
Both parties are just marketing firms, and the goal of marketing is market share, the quality of the product they’re selling is irrelevant to them.
They’re all terrible people.

Gas that dirty rat like bastard.
The party has no identity anymore, it's just that simple. No cohesive leadership, too many agendas, too many ideologies and no one is unifying the members. It just came out that Ronna McDaniel is offering to step down after the SC primary so a Trump friendly leader can be put in place. That's another dumpster fire waiting to happen.
The right can bitch all they want about the left but they have unified leadership and one agenda. Like them or not they are the party of stability and progress while he republicans just keep making noise and spinning their wheels. They talk big and don't have the unity to pull it off. How's that Biden impeachment coming? More of the same.

Because the GOP Leadership sucks, in some ways, worse than the Commucrats.
At least the latter has come out of the closet as it were and don't even attempt to hide their anti-America Agenda
Impeachment jumped the shark a few years ago. Did you miss it?
Our career politicians are corrupt and don’t give a shit about Americans. Nothing changes when you elect a candidate that can be bought with sex or money.

Unfortunately, republicans can’t get themselves to play as dirty as democrats. This is our downfall as it has become clear that one sometimes has to fight fire with fire to level the playing field. It’s a shame that Tom McClintock, a man I have supported, doesn’t realize our current reality and act on what has to be done. Does he think democrats will suddenly become moral?
Tom’s reasoning:
Mr. Speaker:
Secretary Mayorkas is guilty of maladministration of our immigration laws on a cosmic scale. But we KNOW that’s not grounds for impeachment, because the American Founders specifically rejected it.
They didn’t want political disputes to become impeachments, because that would shatter the separation of powers that vests the enforcement of the laws with the President – no matter how bad a job he does.
Cabinet secretaries can’t serve two masters. They can be impeached for committing a crime relating to their office, but not for carrying out presidential policy.
The border crisis can’t be fixed by replacing one left-wing official with another. It can only be fixed by the American people at the ballot box by replacing this administration with one committed to securing our borders, defending our country, and upholding the rule of law. Americans are already coming to that conclusion.
And I’m afraid that stunts like this don’t help.

Well that had the coffee squirting out of my nose from laughing this morning....you think the border mess and the US now in two wars concurrently is "stability"; and; you think the DEI initiatives ruining lives and industries is "progress". Adorable.
And the left "agenda" is wholesale transformation of the country into rampant socialism (which is well underway) with "replacement" of the current citizenry with global-centric populations. An economist once said that, "America will do fine until citizens realize they can vote themselves largess from the public coffers" (paraphrasing) and we see it daily now.
What do you think the goal of UBI (Universal Basic Income) is ? Touted by people like Zuckerberg and Senator Booker and MANY others. Its, "from each according to their ability, to each according to their need". You may need to look up the attribution.
Meaning rewarding the slothful and undermining capitalism and has FAILED IN EVERY INSTANCE ITS BEEN APPLIED.
But, yes, the GOP is a dumpster fire at this point...and the neo-conservatives would have been called moderate progressives a few years ago. They get sucked into stupid battles and sh!t the bed regularly. Politics is now a knife fight in a dark alley and the GOP forgot theirs and is scrambling around on the ground looking for anything sharp. Agreed, the GOP doesn't have a Nancy Pelosi who could "herd cats", even The Squad and get them marching in unison, but in the wrong direction.
The border reform is an example, the GOP has been played off as undermining a secure border by not approving an act that will increase illegal entry tenfold. Biden could secure the border TODAY, THIS MINUTE just by invoking article 212(f) of the immigration laws and increasing "expedited removal authority" (I was a Senior Exec at DOJ and dealt with the old INS and border issues regularly BTW)

American Politics of today can be summed up in one easy statement: If there's a right thing to do, the GOV'T will do the opposite.
Most of these people couldn't tie their own shoes, yet they run a country.
This is how I feel as a US citizen and a veteran today:
I was once willing to give my live for what I believed this country stood for...Today, I would give my life to protect my family from what this country has become.

I'm not defending their politics but the truth is for whatever reason there is no infighting over leadership or agenda within the ranks. The party is unified while the right is a dumpster fire trying to figure out who's in charge and what battle they want to fight today.
The right needs to get that sorted before they can make any progress and get the White House back, that's just my opinion.

On the contrary, that's the best news I'll hear all day. We've needed to lose that ignorant whore for a long time now. Wouldn't surprise me at all if she doesn't land a job with the communist democrats - where she belongs.

Reminder of the 'progress' made by the Brandon regime on day 1:
https://media.patriots.win/post/0YhxMo8E4vIm.jpeg
All of the Trump border security policies, wiped out on day one, with predictable results. In hindsight, would you prefer if the Brandon regime had just left border security on auto pilot, where illegals were actually being kept out? Or are you happier with our current 'progress' that is flooding America with replacements for Heritage-Americans like us?
Keep in mind, this new, non White 3rd World America will be where your grandkids, and their offspring, will have to live.

Every time I get a solicitation from the Pubs, I tell them I refuse to donate to liberal causes and spineless cowards in the GOP who enable them.
"Missed it by this much" Same ole, same ole.
We need to go back to the classic gold standard and remove their ability to create infinite currency. I don't think it gets fixed until then but maybe they're collapsing it on purpose but no one accepts FedCoin?
Some Central Banks are loading up on gold, like the globalists are getting it evenly distributed around the world, for some reason.

The point is to rub America's nose in it. Force them to see what their government has done to them, in the same way you'd force your dog's snout in the piss spot he just made on the rug. You're saying, no, this isn't what you are supposed to do.
While I'm sure the MSM will downplay the impeachment trial, and try and cherry pick any little snippet that makes the regime look like this isn't intentional, that will be a hard sell, because every bit of it is intentional, every bit is the Great Replacement Theory proven true. And maybe some of the people being replaced might think about that, and ask themselves how that benefits their families.

Yes, impeachment was intended to curtail criminality and other heinous acts but not incompetence or poor job performance - I get that. But the arsenal of tools now available to oust someone clearly executing an agenda that borders on supporting an invasion are few with the current checks and balances eroded. Yet Trump can get indicted for a campaign budget line that the head of the FEC says is not only NOT a crime; its not even a reporting issue.
