That's what my wife and I say. When we left college, we didn't register with either party, but we identified most closely with what we call "JFK Democrats". Over the last 40 years, we have stood by and watched the "Democrat Party" become at the very best socialists, with which we do not agree. Neither of us are particularly fond of the Republican party (and neither of us has ever been registered as such), but at this point, neither of us can fathom voting for ANY democrat.

Leftism is a totalitarian ideology -- everything they say or do is to that end, total and absolute control over everything.

Show trials, private or public harassment, threats, beatings, torture, imprisoning political enemies, murdering political enemies, genocide are all on the table as tactics to be used as necessary. These are all "moral" to leftists if it advances "the cause."

What we call "liberals" are America's version of "useful idiots" that Vladimir Lenin identified in Russia as a group that unwittingly helped push along his evil agenda. Thanks to propaganda, they had no idea what was really going on behind the scenes or what the goal was.

I know about 6-8 "liberals," half are in my family. They are all some of the nicest people you will ever meet, all solidly family-oriented, culturally conservative, hardworking people. They are America's useful idiots.
