They're lucky the didn't get the Sandy Hook shooter treatment, frankly. The whole question here is, did they know their son was dangerous, or did they not. If they knew, or should have known, then maybe putting a gun in his hand wasn't a good idea.

Down here, parkland shooter was a problem, school did all they could which was pathetic, BUT the school board superintendent told all principals to BURY these types of issues, DO NOT BRING IN THE POLICE, as he wanted the stats to reflect much lesser problem students in order to increase his bonus.

The parkland shooter should have been at an in-patient facility, had he been 17 people would have lived.

My ex has a 2nd cousin that I would be very concerned about. I told her for YEARS that he was dangerous. I'm out of the loop now, but if I saw him being hauled off on the news, I wouldn't be the least surprised.

Either we are responsible for them or not how can there be grey areas?

They should hold parents responsible when their kids txt and drive and smash into people then also. Both should be charged.
