Ipad Question/Help

recently picked one up and the question is, how do i create seperate photo alums? this is a shared device and we all would like to have our own album. ive looked online a bit and so far it seems you might be able to do this through itunes (which i hate) is there any other way? also read that even going through itunes can be problematic with deleting stuff as you "sync"

anyone know an easy way to do this? we would just like to take emailed pics and put in a personal folder on the phone rather than a garbled up mess in a single folder...

Only way is through Itunes, to prevent deleting issues, make sure the Manually sync box is checked, that way you can choose what exactly is synced and what is not, helps alot for shared devices such as yours :cheers:

so it seems ill need to learn itunes? ive had three iphones which was never an issue because its not shared. ill read up on itunes a little more. the sync thing scares me because ive lost stuff and also put stuff on another iphone i didnt want to. i like apple stuff, im just not apple savvy... (pc guy here)

Yep, I think if you double tap the picture, you will be able to save it to which ever album you would like. I am not wild about Itunes, but once I learned the program it eased the issues I had, I still have to be careful with it though, it is not hard to delete somthing. You also can due a manual back up before doing any syncing to prevent those issues of deleting important info.

Also you can set up a separate folder to put the devices contents in, you may be able to do what you want with out Itunes, but I am not sure what the steps are to do so.
