That was on a billboard, black letters on white background, I75 southbound in northern Florida. Second line, "They are destroying America".

I searched for a photo online but couldn't find one. Someone please stop and take one, post it here.

If I wanted to meet with coons, I'd just go to East Winston.:D
Yad, hopefully your dad is ok and just being moved closer to family.

He went to be with my Mom early this morning, to a much better place, on angel's wings.

Likewise condolences... When my Mom passed it was tough, a few years later my Dad was gone and the feeling was worse.....when the second parent goes you just feel "untethered" from your ancestry, took a good while to move past it.
Hang in there...it'll get better.

My experience as well. Lost my dad 15 years ago and my mom 3 years ago. Felt weird at first, still does. I catch myself thinking "I'll call mom" and then realize that it's not an option. I still talk to both of them if I'm doing something we did or using one of their things (dishes, cutlery, etc.) and say "I love you, Mom!", etc. It gets better. And knowing that they DID live long and full lives helps a lot. We should all be so lucky. :seasix:

One of my favorite sayings, "Don't cry because its over, smile because it happened"
Sometimes, when I get in a jam working on a car issue, I think of "the 'ole man" and the expletives he could come up with when he did the same. It was really an artform he had mastered. Brings a sappy grin to my face every time.
