My guaranteed LOCK for First Round is take the Chiefs, fins are toast, actually burnt toast.
I can be dollar-wise when it comes to football bet, fins are my team, but they suckarse, tua is fake, coach needs to go, franchise needs to be gutted, not the players, just the fools in charge.
Owner is a good dood, I will let him stay.
Two-team parlay would be to add cowboys.
Add bills if you want three-pay, but I would stick with two parlay.
Best +/- is take the over for cle-hou.

The Chiefs and Lions thought the same thing
I still think GB secret to winning is not playing the starters, all the rookies have stepped up and are un known
I've only bet once in my life, 5-6? years ago when it was the Iggles and Pats in the Superbowl. My neighbor asked me, and I went with the Pats for $20. I lost, but I didn't care about the money.
It changed the whole way I watched a football game. It was all different and I didn't like it; I just enjoy watching the actual game and who does what. With money involved it ruined all that.
It's the same reason I hate watching a game at a bar; nobody gives a shit what's going on unless *your* team scores. I want all the details of the play, flags, whatever, which isn't possible to get in a bar. It's even worse being in the stadium.

Most hardcore gamblers are annoying, being a casual fan who deos not bet is the way to be.
Rarely have I known a sports bettor who comes close to break-even, all are ALWAYS down, trying to figure a way to get to even.

Fish were dead the night they let the winless road team with the 3rd string rookie QB beat them at home after leading by 14 points with less than three minutes left.
December collapses have been patented by the fish, I blame lack of conditioning, whining about injuries that all other teams play through, and very poor coaching.
Last good coach they had was MR. SHULA!!

Don't play it or watch it and see how far it goes. Fans are dumb enough to pay crazy amounts for tickets, parking, and food. As long as you have the sheep the NFL,MLB, and NBA will charge what they want.

I'm a Bucs fan and I was 100% against the Bucs getting Mayfield.. I wanted them to get Jimmy G or Derek Carr. However, Baker has been playing his heart out and he deserves a multi year contract. No, he is not one of the best QBs but he is certainly above average and deserves a good contract with the Bucs. For what the Bucs paid him this year, they got the steal of a lifetime.

This year was a steal, most call-ins to the sports talk shows I was listening to are more for Evans than Baker, most said bucs could not afford both.
I like Baker's stats this year, and feel they should offer $90M for three with two-year guarantee.

I told the wifey NOT to cancel amazon prime because of nfl, I do not think I watched 25% of the games on Thursday night, but I like to know I can watch them if I want.
I had nfl ticket for one season, about 20 years ago, I could not get off the couch for six hours every Sunday, it was very addictive, at a time before kneeling pissed me off.
nbc/peacock paid $110M for saturday night's game, the nfl did the math and it worked for them opposed to a tv network broadcast.
This could be the new norm,,,

I think betting against fins just got better, as it will be sub-zero, they suck in the cold weather, actually, they suck MORE in the cold weather.
I 'think' line opened at 3, is now at 4, probably will hit 6.5 by kickoff.
Unfortunately people can't exist without watching sports all day and will pay. :yesnod:
Maybe SOME people can't, but I can. If there are those who want to pay to watch a football game on Sunday, let them, I don't care. I just won't be joining them. In the last 60 years, the number of times I have sat and watched an entire NFL game on TV that wasn't called "The Super Bowl", could probably be counted on one hand. I like it on as more or less background noise on Sundays, or Thanksgiving and the like.
I had nfl ticket for one season, about 20 years ago, I could not get off the couch for six hours every Sunday, it was very addictive, at a time before kneeling pissed me off.
My wife talked me into trying the MLB thing one year for the Phillies. Cost me $100, and they IMPLIED that I would get EVERY game. Well, what the advertisement gave, the fine print took away. Instead of getting 162 games, I "got" maybe 110. Got is in question marks, because nearly half the time I was supposed to get the game, it would bounce me out. I would call customer service, and they told me I couldn't use a VPN to watch the games. I told them I don't have a VPN, and their response was
**** them.

From 2016 to 2022 he almost played 2 full seasons
2016, 2017, and 2018 he played 2, 5, and 3 games. 2020 he played 6. games. Not to hard to get a good QB rating when you've played 16 games over 4 years.
In ten years he's played one full season and one year played 15 games. Only the Raider would sign him for 3yr 67.5 million and get 6 games out of him. :Jeff '79:

Weather less of a factor for Cowboys, they can heat that place up.
No tailgating though, as 20 degrees with 15MPH winds.
I have grown to like Dak, but without Lamb, like tua w/o Hill, he would be more average.

Now 44.5, I would think under, as will not be much passing, the ball will be heavy, and hard to grip.
fins offense suck, I do not see them scoring more than two offensive TDs.

This is a great matchup. Both Love and Purdy are starting to show serious potential. It may just come down to everyone else, and frisco having a stronger supporting cast. On the other hand, if today's Packers are in frisco next week, look out.

9ers have amazing talent on that team, offense and defense. Any QB would do well in that system. Purdy is very reliable for his age but he has amazing supporting cast. Love on the other hand has very few experienced veteran players around him. Love and Stroud may be the QBs to watch in the coming years.

Banner year. This may be the year football died in FL.:D
What the heck happened to the E-gulls the last couple of months?
Really not very much. They kind of sucked early in the season, but had the benefit of playing some teams that didn't have their shit together yet, and getting lucky late and in OT. They did get worse the last two months, but don't let that 10-1 start fool you, they were never really as good as that record would lead you to believe.
They did lose most of their big offensive performers late in the season, which hurt. Once that happened, and everyone on the planet knew Hurts has a major knee problem that needs surgery, every DC knew that all they had to do was rush 6, the O-line COULD NOT pick it up, Hurts couldn't run like he used to, and there was nobody to throw to. Last night was a perfect example. TB had that number, and used it relentlessly. I'm not saying I blame them, I would have done the same thing.

Give it a rest.
Fins have sucked since forever, never going to get better, accepting a playoff game beatdown as progess is pussyish.
First step needed is an ownership change, then fire all in the front office, the head coach may be allowed one more season on the condition he fires both coordinators.
They need to let tua leave, he is not a franchise qb.
Most of rest of team can stay, but anyone over $5M/year with no guarantee left can also leave.

As a Bucs fan, I'd prefer Green Bay at home rather than SF Bay in San Francisco. I don't think that neither of the remaining teams in the NFC can stop the 9ers from going to the Super Bowl.

Okay, time to get serious, here are the lines and +/- as of now, I doubt they will change before kickoff.
So, for real, bet the wife's wedding ring, THIS IS GOLD!!
ravens by 9.5, +/- is 43.5
ravens will cover, as beat the line vs. jags, 49ers and fins
do not bet +/- as will near zero with wind
49ers by 9.5, +/- is 50.5
49ers will cover at home, even though only 3-5 this year, they are peaking
take the over 50.5, as I think GB is good for 20 points
lions by 6.5, +/- is 6.5
detroit DID NOT cover against rams, stay away from points, mayfield can be great or shit
take the under 49.5, as tampa defense is playing well
bills by 2.5, +/- is 45.5
bills on a roll, already beat KC at their place, beat cboys&fins&steelers since then--covered spread in all, take the bills and give the points
Again, +/- in cold weather is tough, stay away

That game will come down to Tampa's O-Line to give Baker some time and Bucs defense ability to keep the Lions at 21 points or below.. I think that the Bucs can score over 21 points against the LIONS defense, so the key is to not let them score more than 21.
Baker plays good in Dome stadiums.. Wins against Vikings, Falcons, New Orleans and 37 points against Texans (they lost that game due to horrible defensive play calling but Bucs offense did well and scored a lot). They lost to the Colts which was their ONLY other loss against a Dome team.

I can't stand Harbaugh, and I think that the NFL is shady as shit with the betting.
Now, with that said, what should he have done in that situation? If he could have run out the clock or if it was a few seconds, sure, but that wasn't the case. They were 4th and whatever in fg range. You don't just hand them the ball and hope that they in turn kneel on it. It would be incredibly unlikely, but with 2 minutes, a lot can still happen. This is the NFL. You put points on the board. I can't really find much fault in that one.

Most teams would have run the ball on 4th down.
BALT did not need the points, Texans were down by 21 and had scored 10 points in the first 58 minutes.
Kicking an FG could lead to a block that gets returned for TD, safest play with a 21-point lead would be to run it, seen it done a million times, have rarely seen a FG attempt.
I have not seen a playoff game in which a team scored only 10 points, scores another 21 points in the final two minutes, no believe, evened the Texans, that a comeback was possible.
Not sure, I think it was 4th and 3 to go, they may have picked up the first down with a run.
