His actions and inactions repulsed me as a "Life Member" for quite a few years. Long overdue and probably too little too late, hopefully he takes the BOD with him.

Wayne is Ronna McDaniel in flats.
Thank God.
Now who do they pick will depend on if they ever get another red cent from me.

I might re-join if they get better leadership. I was a member for some years, but dropped my membership because of LaPierre. Want to see who replaces him before I decide to re-up or not

:iagree: :iagree:
Life Member here too. Haven't donated in way more than a decade.
They absolutely jumped the shark with Wayne.
He saw every nail as a sledgehammer job. There is actually some high level thinking that needs to be involved other than just saying "NO" to everything. He's one-dimensional. His only argument is creep.
The NRA needs to get smarter, or go away.

Almost excellent, except the weapon he brandished while making that statement was a muzzle loader... not considered a firearm at all... order online and they will mail it straight to your door.
Nice sentiment though!

So far, I have read retirement citing health issues. In addition is a corruption trial involving himself and many others of the NRA is about to start.

Yeah, I'm a Patron member and I've been waiting for Wayne to go. He hung around way too long. Exec VP is a hired position, will be interesting.
Over fifty five year NRA Life/ Patron member here, his leaving is lonnnnnnnnng overdue.
I have registered many complaints over the years, hopefully things get better soon.

He should have been gone 20 years ago. He sucked the NRA dry. Good riddance. Hope it's not too late.
The last time I got a renewal letter, I wrote on it "Get rid of LaPierre and we'll talk" and mailed it back the them
