Years ago my boss bought his wife one of those silly little Mercedes SUV's. Not the POS G wagon. The other one. I have to admit, it had the most comfortable seats and ride I'd experienced in a long time. She had a Volvo previously, and this was night and day. It ended up giving them pretty good service. The fuel filter had to be replaced and that was $600, stuff like that.
Once you get 'spoiled' by better comforts, it's hard to go back. One reason I haven't been camping out of my '83 Hi Lux for over 20 years.
