Could a '67 L79 Corvette even get to 132 mph? I know my '70 LS5 hits redline in 4th at 142, and I have a 3.08 rear, standard in '67 was 3.36 IIRC. I'm not sure how the redlines compare, but it sounds like a real stretch at best to me.

My 67 L-79 with a 3.36 would have a hard time getting to that speed unless in an extended distance and then the front end starts to lift causing steering issues. I had mine to around 120-125 and noticed the lightness in steering.
