Well, Saturday is the long-awaited BRISKET FESTIVAL at OBC's house, I think the last one was about six months ago.

Two of three daughters will be in town visiting, so in the outdoor freezer is the 11-pound Costco non-lean beautifulous beef.

I will definitely not eat lunch on Saturday, but am considering stopping eating other meals before then.

What do the VBers normally do in this situation, how many meals are omitted prior to the feast.

BTW, my math says there will be enough leftovers for at least three more meals, lunches or dinners, take you pick!!

BRISKET, IT'S WHAT FOR CHRISTMAS!!

Brisket (like Chinese) is a Jewish food.

That is cultural appropriation!

You are doing it wrong that will shrink your stomach reducing intake. :leaving:

I am not Jewish, but I like the food, ate an INCREDIBLE Bagel Restaurant last Sunday, and may be going back again this Sunday.

The wifey will smoke it, 8+ hours, a labor of love.

I never miss a meal... I'd probably eat more in advance.

If you ate the whole restaurant, there's probably nothing left to go back to.

Are you smoking it?

Wifey is damn good with the Traeger, she has done chicken and turkey, but the brisket is her greatest accomplishment.
She cooks it on very low temp, takes 8+ hours, perfection every time.
