The founding fathers had to use pseudonyms so they would not get hunted down and killed when writing the Federalist Papers. Does she really believe that would not happen now?
Is the whole generation lost? Having a supposed Republican say these words, let alone one running for POTUS, is a clear sign this party is done.

Not to be self congratulatory, but I recall libertarians like me shouting all this from the rooftops back then, just like we screamed like banshees that the Iraq War was a yuge mistake. And Poppy Bush....all he had to do was ride on Reagan's coattails and slide, enjoying the peace dividend from Reagan winning the Cold War. But Poppy New World Order just couldn't do that. I give Poppy credit for his WWII service, but as to the rest of his govt. service, he was a POS.

For years I had a Ron Paul sticker on my truck. I get that it's not really safe to put political affiliation stuff on your car these days, particularly if it's not pro-leftist, but I figured nobody would know who Ron Paul was, and if they did, would just kind of feel sorry for me and leave me alone. Never had a problem.

So much stank from that administration, beginning to end but the sad part was so many Americans defending them, even in hindsight. Team mentality? IDK but I remember voting for him and staying up during the “chad” controversy, hoping like hell Al Gore lost.

THE “Couranteers” or “Hell-Fire Club,” as the contributors to James Franklin’s The New-England Courant came to be known, started something new in America--a lively journal without ties to the Massachusetts colonial government that published attacks on Boston’s political and religious establishment. The submission Benjamin Franklin wrote and slipped under the door to the newspaper was a letter supposedly written by a minister's widow named Silence Dogood. The favorable reception of the first letter prompted Franklin to write a second. In all, fourteen essays by Silence Dogood appeared in the Courant.
James Franklin and his friends knew that "Silence Dogood" was a pen name and not a "real" woman. They concluded that the writer using the pseudonym was a clever and well-read man of town; they had no idea that the real author was James's younger brother.
