WEEK 10
Friday Night Football:
Boston College @ Syracuse (7:30pm EST on ESPN 2)
We've got some great games on tap this weekend.
In the Big XII Texas hosts a very well coached and ranked K-State team. Meanwhile Oklahoma, coming off their loss to Kansas, has to try and bounce back in BEDLAM - on the road this season at Oklahoma State.
In the B1G Penn State has to bounce back from their Ohio State loss on the road against a very good Maryland squad. Ohio State also has a road test against a well coached Rutgers team.
In the ACC, reeling Clemson and their butt-hurt head coach Dabo who was tougher against an irate Clemson fan caller than his team has played all season hosts Notre Dame. Miami and N.C. State face off in primetime.
In the PAC, its Washington at USC. Can Caleb Williams score more points against the Huskies than USC's porous defense will give up?
In the SEC, Ole Miss hosts A&M, and Georgia hosts surprising #12 Mizzou, who controls their own SEC and playoff destiny.
GAME OF THE WEEK: #14 LSU @ #8 Alabama
This game over the past decade+ has arguably been the best rivalry in College Football. Great match-up of styles this season - LSU has a high-powered passing attack and offense centered around dual-threat Jayden Daniels. But LSU's defense has been an issue. 'Bama on the other hand has gone back to Saban's roots this season - playing incredible defense and ball control on offense. Hopefully this is another epic one under the lights. 'Bama still controls both their SEC and CFP destiny. But LSU is still alive, even if barely so.

They play a sucky team. "Well-coached" is a euphemism for retarded. xOSU will make the playoffs, and get smacked.

Incredible finishes to some of the Noon games. Ole Miss barely gets a finger on an A&M FG attempt to win, Texas holds on in OT as K-State goes for it and fails on 4th down, then Arkansas holds Florida to an OT FG and scores a TD to win it and stay alive for a bowl game.

They’re always in the top 10 at the season start every year. Then they choke every year. They were still ranked 15th before today even with two losses. Maybe they’ll fall out of the top 20 now with three. Love watching them lose.

Huge win for the program with OU leaving for the SEC - bragging rights for a while. Plus it vaults them into position for the Big XII title game.

LSU @ Alabama is indeed the game of the day so far. Luckily there's no other important games going on at this moment. Great, great game so far with two top-10 if not top-5 teams. It's shaping up to be one of the beset games of the year to date also.

The Top 4 QB's in the country and three from the PAC 12 and all high first round picks. With Caleb Williams USC going the first pick, Michael Penix Jr.Washington top 5 pick, and Bo Nix Oregon top 10 pick. Drake Maye North Carolina going between 11-15 io the first round. Then we have the rest.

Hard to believe Riley didn't leave Grinch behind at OU but he seems content to try to score 70 and win by a field goal.
Unfortunately his legacy is still haunting OU even with Venables as the head coach. Venables should be able to fix OU's defense given his work at Clemson but the Riley's way is deeply embedded. He's a great QB coach but probably needs to be an OC instead of head coach.
