Nice but also, I’m down with modern mons pubis trimming. :yesnod: I’ve noticed fewer Bigfoot sightings since too. Coincidence?

Hard to see since everyone one of them had their legs crossed. Back to a time where modesty was considered appropriate.

Back then any girl five pounds over was considered fat. Going to college they were warned of the "freshman five" and told to avoid it.
I went to catholic schools early in life and let me tell you those nuns were very puritanical. The girls all had to wear loosely fitted clothes with real long hem lines. (That picture from the OP would not have had catholic school girls in it!)
Things got much better when I left the Catholic system and went to public school. The Vietnam war was on, the legal drinking age was 18, muscle cars dominated the street, music was great and the birth control pill made a big presence on the scene.:hurray:
I have a lot of seriously good memories of those times, wish I could go back in a time machine and redo that era.

The very best part of that era was that there were far fewer fatties and none of the women had penises. I know this is going to shock and offend the liberal democrats, but it is what it is.

The first five pounds a freshman gains while attending first year of college.
Many reasons why, mostly because they have the spare time.
I also heard it is due to going on the pill, not sure about that one.

We had a girl born in France that came to this country in 6 grade. A very nice smart girl, she learned quite decent English in about 6 months. She also never shaved her legs or pits.
Years later I bedded her and without a doubt she had the hairiest bush I ever experienced. I had to spend a bunch of quality time looking for the "promised land" :D It was well worth it!:hurray:

Weight gained due to three cafeteria meals/ day, and trading in after school sports for sedentary activities like studying for the next exam. :(

I heard it called the Freshman Ten. It has a lot of potential causes.
For starters, PE class, which was required every year in high school, is no longer required once you get to college. Potential for reduced physical activity.
Also, living away from home for the first time, students are 100% in charge of their diet, which means lots of high-carb foods like pizza and beer.

You missed two of the best decades ever. Some of the girls in my high school wore their skirts/ dresses impossibly short. It is still a mystery to me how butt cheeks were never exposed. Chock it up to expert lady skills and high quality muscle tone. :yesnod:

Inflation perhaps. Maybe now it's the Freshman Fifty. :D
Inflation perhaps. Maybe now it's the Freshman Fifty. :D
When I was in college in the late 80's it was "the freshmen 15."
When I was in h.s., most of the girls wore jeans, not a lot of dresses, except at dances and proms.
So from most other metrics, things were quite good, America at peace, good economy, Cold War won, peace dividends, a continuation of great music from the 70's. Cars of the era were still comparatively anemic compared to the 60's but getting better.
Crime was down, Americans were happier, racial strife was beginning to be a distant memory. Everyone was watching The Cosby Show, Back to the Future, and Family Ties, America was still mostly White, no Muslims, just two genders, gays mostly kept to themselves.
Truly halcyon days, the 80's. The country, and really, the world, got worse in the subsequent decades.

Two middle-aged men are in a football stadium and the spot a good looking girl across the field with her legs spread using binoculars. They have a debate about what they are seeing so they tell a young kid to go over there and confirm the black patch they see is either the "bush" or black panties. The kid returns and they ask, "Well - which is it ?".
The kid says "Neither, its flies"...

I remember an ad for the new Flair felt tip pen around 1969. There was a model wearing a skirt or belt made of the pens, which were about 6 inches long. Longstraight hair, boots, etc. Lots of leg. The byline was 'ain't that a kick in the head!" Still is, all these years later.

That bedroom time was a one only. Yes it was a bit different, but she was clean, to me that is the important criteria. I saw her legs and and a pit so I knew she still did not shave them. Got to admit I was surprised just how much hair she had when her shorts came off.

WRKO Boston had a AM Top 40 format in the 60's and early 70's. One weekend during the summers they sponsored a family event at Canobie Lake Park in southern NH. Wooden roller coaster, carnival rides, and an indoor concert hall where they featured great local bands. When I was maybe 12, so 1971, my two older sisters dragged me into the hall.
It was my first taste of live rock music. No seating just a huge dance floor. Colored lights, glitter ball way up high, and loud music. The most memorable part: two gorgeous "go-go" girls in tight dresses and high leather boots with spiked heels, each in their own "bird cage" suspended above the crowd.
Those were the days. Girls expressed their femininity proudly, and to drive men absolutely ****ing crazy.

Ha, in '66-'67 I was earning 75¢ per hour part time. No Vettes for me.
I had my $75 Corvair, a girlfriend, and made about $16-18 cash per week. It cost $3-4 to fill the tank, going to the drive-in was a buck a head, Carvel cones were 10¢ each.
Life was good!
But I had to wait until 1990 to get my first Corvette, a '72. I could have bought one before that, but I had other priorities.

i dated a half dozen gals in high school. Two redheads, two brunettes, and three blondes. But the cars...
Bought my first car at sixteen in August '77. It was a '69 Camaro, white/black interior, 307 2v with a 'Glide and chrome A/FX slotted wheels. Paid a whopping $400 for it.
Three months later (Nov) bought my second. It was a '67 Charger, grey/red interior and a 318 with E/T grey five spoke wheels. Sold the Camaro a couple of months later.
In Feb '78 I got my third. It was a '67 Malibu, yellow/ aqua interior with a modded 250 inline and a 'Glide. Sold the Charger a month later.
Traded the Chevelle in March'79 for a '76 Rally Sport Camaro, black over whit/red interior and a 350-4v. Added Appliance five spokes, Heddman headers, Thrush mufflers, B&M shift kit and a Sanyo am/fm/8 track with Jensen speakers.
I was the only kid in school with two cars and did it twice. I was rockin' it big time before I was eighteen. I worked every day after school, both days on the weekends, and paid for the cars, insurance, and maintenance myself.
I am now on car number 248 at 62 years old, and currently shopping.

The "Peppermint Beach Club" in Virginia Beach hosted top acts in the 60s, Chubby Checker, the Rhondells Fats Domino, Paul Revere & the Raiders and too many more to name - spent some great times there, no A/C, just screen doors/windows and sweaty kids be-bopping in the steamy summer nights.
The "Boathouse" in the same city got some amazing talent too with an "up close and personal" venue, you could stand a few feet from the performers.

Newport News, Hampton, and Norfolk are gone forever. Looks like Chicago, Baltimore, or Mogadishu on any given day. Parts of Virginia Beach are only kept habitable by an enormous police presence during the day. If you are white, you do not want to be down there after dark. Lived there for three years back in the day when it was nice. Won't vacation there now. Head further south to Emerald Isle instead for a nice, relaxing time.

Pavement apes roll in and political correctness keeps any authorities from curtailing trouble. It's all reaction not action. And even the reaction is done with kid gloves.

It started when the annual "Greek Fest" went ghetto - even mounted cops couldn't control the mob, some of their horses were cut with straight razors as they tried to move the riotous crowd.
Va Beach had a bunch of neat clubs back in the day, Rogue's Gallery, Peabody's Warehouse, The Rathskeller, I spent way too much time and money in all of them in the 60s. I caught more than one sunrise sitting bleary-eyed and tipsy on the sand at Rudee Inlet, trying (often unsuccessfully) not to barf....then there was the Jolly Roger in Ocean View - you went there if you wanted to fight - I once saw two girls face off with broken beer bottles there - NEVER went back after that... IIRC, the Pagan motorcycle club basically took it over later on.
