Patriot... not The Patriot, just "Patriot" on Prime is one of my favorites. State Department spy stuff with some great characters and lots of dark humor. Only 2 seasons so you can blow through it pretty quickly.

I was sold at ~2:25 or so of the trailer.

Wifey got us on The Americans, a russian couple living in dc working for the kgb; I think it originally aired on FX.
Not bad, a little better than most, we are in final season 6, so I, too, need some recommendations for the next show to watch.
