View Full Version : Florida Barners....Y'all OK? Looks Like Clearwater Took a Hit
Living on the Gulf Coast, we're used to storms, but damn, it seems like Florida just keeps getting hit over and over and over.
Hope everyone's OK.

Give pinellas county and enema and wash Largo off the map :yesnod:
It's been raining steady here in Jax/Yulee area, but we haven't had rain in a couple of weeks and really need it.

One day, probably not soon, I want to move to Ponte Vedra area, great golf, nice and quiet, quality beaches, and of course I can drink every night with DJ and Steve :shots::datawiz::cert:!!

PV is about 30-45 minutes south of me. Stebe is about an hour north east of me not far from where I work. Gene is probably 15 minutes away and Stikki lives on the shitty side of town about 20 minutes away or so....
Don't discount the NAS Jax golf course. very nice courses and they take care of it pretty well.

Sucks for y'all. And just in time for our part-time Floridiots to move back to whence they came. We had a frost the other night and most of them tore arse out of here.

I hope they stole your spare driveway rocks :yesnod:

On that note, my traffic calming rocks were knocked over several times this summer. Now that we've had a frost and the Floridiots have run away in fear of cold, my display has remained undisturbed.
Odd coincidence... :Jeff '79:

And you keep your lesser Carolidiots up there this winter, too. We don't need your blue hairs ****ing up traffic any worse than it already is. We don't go passive aggressive with driveway rocks. We actively turn them into window rocks. :yesnod:

Window rocks? Is that the name of a has-been disco band? :confused5:

Sounds like you would not have an economy without the FL folks.
I would bet you $1,000 to St. Judes that every small biz owner is most thankful that FL visitors and transplants spend their dollars in your town.
I know many from NC, used to have an office in Raleigh, on ROute 1, near NCSU, for three years back in my corporate days-2000s.
All the employees I had in the office, and every person I would meet in a bar or restaurant had no issues with FL folks.
I was impressed with how many were still fans of Dan Marino, almost all wanted to get here if their lives allowed for it.
A couple doods I ran with in HS moved there, around charlotte, I stay in touch, they say most NCers are good folks, none have the FL bias you possess.
For most NCers I know and meet, the biggest issue is all the aholes in their state from the NE--common in all southern states,,, where are you originally from again, hopefully not an ahole state like asserchewsits, thanks.
As I have said many time to refute your ignorance and blatant bias, for every FL person who left for your state, I know 100 from your state that has moved here, it proves my points with objectivity, and squashes your inanity.

Again, Floriduh is too hot, too flat, and too many bugs. It's a sink for the detritus that gets flushed down from above. I'm glad Floridiots spend their money here than leave. When they are gone, and the air turns from cool to crisp, this is the best place on earth. :seasix:

Well I just sit here in rural Florida on my lakefront with my homestead exemption, no income tax, little to no heating bills, tons of wildlife and watch the snow fly up north on my TV...

You grow more ignorant with every post, keep it up, it puts a smile on Bob's face.
Tides are crazy this week, too, with the eclipse alignment. Lots of water.
Florida is technically a tropical area. Storms & hurricanes are a regular thing there.

One of the tornados came a few hundred yards from my office. I rounded up all my peeps and had them ready to duck into the bathrooms if necessary. :willy:
It did not make the news here on the Treasure coast.

Yo know I'm not wrong there. You complained about them yourself. And leave my little puppy out of this. True, he has to wear a diaper most times, but otherwise he's very entertaining. :Jeff '79:
