Using cold patch for a temporary fix in these holes for the winter so I don't break an ankle?
Comments?
Thoughts?

Let me start.

I’ve never had any luck getting cold patch to adhere to concrete. I would use some thin set concrete for the winter.

A product that claims to fill those will work, but you must do the prep-work. You have to clean it, and apply bond, and it will work great. Follow the instructions, especially about temperature and humidity.

I know there's a bonding agent for concrete to concrete, but I've never heard of one for concrete to asphalt.

I found something else which is supposed to be much better called epoxy-blended asphalt cold patch.

And to think I had the audacity to scrutinize this slab. :D

Fiberglass reinforced body filler AKA "Kitty Hair" works pretty well in a pinch. Be certain to sweep all loose dusty stuff out and it needs to be absolutely dry.

Call the guy like I did this month.

The outer edges of the brick disintegrated and needed remediation.

Temporary Fix

Etch areas with acid and rinse
Paint with bonding agent.
Mix Quikwall Gray Surface-Bonding Cement or similar to clean sand
Not too wet.
Finish with a trowel

Alternative and best repair method is to mix clean sand with liquid 2 part epoxy, but unless you have an economical source, this would not be cost effective.

Your floor is done, needs to be replaced, either dug up and repoured or if enough room another complete floor poured on top.
I would not waste too much time or money on repairs.

As an aside
A good epoxy waterproof finish would have saved the floor from salt and freeze damage

I patched a hole in my curb with some cold stuff I got at Ace Hardware, I figured it was a 6 week fix at best - its two years later and the patch is driven across regularly and still there. Now I wish I had added some tint to it as its stark white against the more gray curbing.

I've seen commercial transport companies use this for thin patching and skim coating in their parking lots, etc. and lasts for years.

Pour-stone worked well for me fixing my dad’s driveway years ago. Looks like Quikrete anchoring cement and some other brands are only available now.
