Damn, never viewed you as a tundra owner, although they were built in Indiana, and now Texas.

I owned a new 2019 Tundra Limited...three months and I traded. The absolute worse truck I have ever owned. Soulless. I hated that truck.

They are singing the song of freedom.

I'm glad you hate Tundras. Leaves more for the rest of us who know better.

Carry on. :yaddy:

My neighbor just bought a brand new Taco. Although it's about the same size as my Ranger, it lacks the acceleration, handling and ride quality.

They are about the same size as my '05 Tundra, but with crappy, low seats and no V8 power and less room. And cost $$$$$. I don't see the attraction other than Toyota reliability.

The generation you have looks 100X better than the latest offering.

I’ve had 3 Tacos and an older pre Tacoma 1986 Toyota truck. All were excellent little pickups. Tough little bastards.

I’d actually love to have the ‘86. :cert:

The Tacoma has a cult like following and the resale value is strong.

I agree. Dodge nailed the aggressive look in the mid '90's and everybody else except Ford at the time started to jump on the bandwagon. Now EVERYBODY want's their truck to look like a gargoyle. I'm wondering when chrome skull ornaments and flaming skull decals will be factory equipment.
Toyota hasn't made a truck I would want since 2006. And what's with the UGLY grill on the Lexus SUV's? Hideous.

I think Nissan would be the bottom of the list on buying a new truck, and Ford or Ram would be near or at the top.

Happy with my Ford. Keeping it for now. Next vehicle purchases are: Jeep GC for my wife (replace her baby cherokee) and a John Deere Gator Diesel for running around the property.

Would be happy to own a Ram or Chevy.
The Silverado 2500/3500 High Country SRW is a damn good looking truck. As is the 2500/3500 Ram Longhorn.

Looks like a guy with his jaw missing. :Jeff '79:

A lot of cars are sporting the humongous grills lately. Apparently black HDPE, or whatever they are made of, is cheaper than metal and paint.

I paid $2500 for this 30 years ago as a ten-year-old used truck, from the original owner. It's been my daily since then. Has never left me stranded. Running errands in it tomorrow. It's a 40 year old truck now. 89047

My '86 was the same color. Mine didn't have the stripes or the roll bar, and had the stock steel wheels. I paid $9,900 new. 4- banger and 5-speed.
That little thing could climb a tree if it could hold on.
