What are your favorite flyover states/areas when you're travelling on chicken buying trips?

I like flying over deserts with views of obscure roads leading up canyons. Makes me want to go out exploring ghost towns.

It's also fun to fly over the mountains and see the glaciers and the lakes. I use Mono Lake as a marker on a western approach into Fresno, SF, or Oakland.

Flyover states in the middle of the country offer a picturesque, quilt-like view.

And are very flat.

I never think of Yadkin when I fly, for some reason. :confused5:
