If you are a student of history you can see many resemblances to Europe in the time between WW1 & WW2. Seeing our goverment in action is looking like how the Nazis instituted the Gestapo, SS and other forms of people control.

I predict real bad times are a coming and coming real fast. Hopeful I'm wrong but doubt it!

We are already living in a "police state." Arresting political opponents for made-up charges are the key, and also arresting lawyers for private conversations with their clients. The Constitution is a dead letter; it will not enforce itself.

Whether you like Trump or not, this is scary stuff. They will work their way down, and before you know you will be in their crosshairs.

That's because if they don't spend all free budget money they're allocated they won't get an increase next time. In fact they won't even get the same amount. Instead they'll see a reduction and that equates to poor job security. It's all about robbing the taxpayer to pay their bills (or buy a second home) :yesnod:

Exactly. I saw how at the end of the year, they would spend everything they had to have new budgets approved by the big wigs.

If you are a Veteran, or have a clearance, you are on a permanent list. Clearances now are continuous, not every 5 or 10 year updates. Continuous.
