A naked Florida man was arrested this week after he was caught spying on his neighbor through her bathroom window — an act he admitted had become a creepy habit.
Pinellas County deputies were lying in wait when a pantsless David Lee Henning, 71, allegedly snuck up to his victim’s Seminole home just after 5 a.m. Wednesday to secretly watch her get ready for work.
Bodycam footage showed the moment officers pounced on the accused pervert, whose genitals were completely exposed.
“Can I please get dressed?” Henning can be heard asking cops as he was placed into cuffs.
Officers were first alerted to the hair-raising crime on Tuesday, when the victim called police to report a stranger trespassing on her property to spy on her in the mornings.
Henning allegedly snuck into her Gulf Coast yard through an enclosed privacy fence and stationed himself outside her bathroom window.
“When detectives interviewed Henning, he admitted to regularly entering the victim’s yard and watching her through the window because he was curious and sexually motivated to see her naked,” Sergeant Amanda Sinni said.
Arresting officers tackled the peeping Tom to the pavement after catching him in the act, seemingly causing injuries to Henning’s face.
His forehead and browline appeared bloodied in both the bodycam footage and his mug shot.
He was charged with voyeurism and two counts of burglary.
Henning is being held at the Pinellas County Jail.
