Never had a problem with Robert personally. He's the reason I ended up in OT.
His last post was the day before Chemdog was elevated...
Then I saw he had one more a few weeks ago in the Beer thread.
Must be more than just participants who don't like that dude.
Not all that surprising IMO. He no longer fits the "job description" of a moderator over there. Grumpy doesn't either, but is hanging in for now. However, it seems clear that he and Cumdawg do not get along. Probably a matter of time, as it is obvious that if those two ever knock heads, management will side with Cumdawg. :yesnod:

When I was last there all I saw grumpy do was post links and cut and paste. Don’t recall him engaging much.

My experience as well, I have no use for Pewter, just another keyboard tough guy. I also never had any problems with Jim and still don't.

I do understand that level of spite. I plan to vote against my Senator John Cornyn in the primary, then when he's the nominee, I'll vote for Beto, for Hillary, or even Satan, whoever the D's are running against him.

For many years, Grumpy was basic. Most of the time, would reply with just a few words.
Seems right around Covid time, he started to cut n paste darn near daily. This would bring in the regulars who would then get canned by other mods for challenging.

It was fun when you could donate items or bid on donated items. I met Eddie Hill that way. Then a few years ago they said no more St. Jude’s auctions, just send money. No clue why.

Probably like every other good deed in life, too much work and aggravation and not enough appreciation shown to make it worth the effort anymore.
I've read that Pewter99 is part of the "beer fairy" group over there and that he's absolutely disgusted by what's happened to the Forum. I don't think he's a moderator any more.

Never a huge problem with him. But, there were just regular guys over there acting like they were holier than thow/ C4 section one guy names matthew? he just was keyboard commando. Always had to be right.. I think he was paid by Continental tires.

Robert was ok in my book...my first infraction was from him and that led me to CFOT. After that Robert and I traded beer's East Coast to West ...He Did tell me to pipe down when I was getting out of line but he was right. Stand up Dude in my opinion. I Believe in the Beer Fairy was a tag you got once you traded...Still have it. :cert:
