Friend of mine had one in high school (~1972). Only rode as a passenger with him once and that was enough for me! The guy was doing over 100mph on a country backroad and crested a small rise... Can still picture the face of that kid on his bike in the middle of our lane. Not sure who was more surprised, him or us. Buddy locked up the wheels pointing the car at the oncoming lane and let off the brake. Must have still been doing 70mph when we flew past that kid.

Drove one of those. It was a 4 speed with 383ci and magnesium wheels. He beat my Buick GS in the quarter mile... But I was outta tune :D
