NOW to get the cars to around the block on a COLD winter morning, OR drive across country without waiting over 3 daze for recharging.....
:issues:
AND I think the obvious solution is to make a 2 standards selection available for cars/etc.....
in other words the 'gas' stations have maybe 3 bays, and in those bays it takes maybe 15 minits to swap in a completely charged battery.....so up to the makers to ensure such an effort will succeed......otherwise it's all a waste of time and effort.....:issues:

I have a mental picture of some Bubba gas station attendant blowing up your car's electronics or getting shocked on his ass changing batteries out - maybe Jiffy Lube will become Jiffy Lube & Electrons - because their techs are soooo good.
