Man, I remember about just thousands of remarks/jokes/etc about LUCAS Electric back in the daze....over 50 years ago....

BUT, I forget just why/what was supposed to be SO messed up about that name/company?? that it demanded all the jokes......

This is 97% true. At UMass we had to take a course called Electrical Engineering for Civil Engineers. It was taught by a tenured prof who wore the same filthy suit every day.

The guy was actually brilliant, as well as a natural comedian.

Lots of guys had a real hard time with that course.

Lucas electric stuff, it was no joke, that stuff was awful! (thats first hand information)
